Hey Guys, so nice to bump into you briefly at Lower Sabie campsite! Of all the places in the world, Kruger was the place we were to catch up. Enjoy your travels 'home'! Good Luck and look forward to seeing you in Cape Town in April for Two Oceans Half! C, M, L & MJ. 6(^)6

Hi Mandy and Jacques,

I spoke to you at the Naiberi River Campsite just outside of Eldoret on 13 July 2009. I’m glad to hear that you were able to repair the strut and move along.

I enjoyed your website.

Best wishes to you for the rest of your journey,

Thomas

Hi Jacques and Mandy,

It is great that we found your website and it is super that we can see how much fun traveling is ! And so much useful information for us. Shortly we will leave also for a trip, with a same car and going for corresponding countries.

May be it’s a pity that our website www.flipflopsonholiday.com is in Dutch, although … Sud Afrikaner … ??, versta jij ook Nederlands ? …. Or use the Google translate tool.

We will follow you both on this marvelous website !

Many greetings and lots of fun with driving around in beautiful and friendly countries !

Just wanted to say that I loved seeing the photos of the Pamir Highway in Winter - not many people do that :) Apparently it is a lot more dangerous taking the route via the Anzob in Winter - North Taj, as people who break down or get stuck often get eaten by the wolves when they walk tfor help - eek! We did same route from Kyrgyz to Taj as you in a non 4WD from London - and it survived the same route...just! including the southern Afghan road. Hoping to go back and do an excursion across the river this year - it really is possible! :)

To Pumbaa's secretaries....

Just a note to say - I hope that a book ' seeyouwhenwegetthere' will be in print, when you get there, so that I can have a coffee table , hard cover version to share with my future generations...a must read.

Since you started your trip I have read every word of your journey, before viewing the pictures, and I must say it is such an amazing experience to travel with you.

I have just read everything about Warsaw, the bizarre facts of my history essays of high school final exams about World War II chillingly to life.

Latvia, and Lethuania - I met some wonderful people from those towns when I was teaching English in London, and how they missed the snow and described those places....and now you've done your ski lessons there - marvelous!

Thanks again, for taking me with you guys, I am the little voice in the laptop in PUMBAA's 'living room' that says: type away....someone will soon devour your every word!

Take care guys and enjoy London!

Mandy - don't forget to stock up for the trip at Whittard Teas!
